Alexandra Miller-Knaack

Coordinator of Student Support and Mental Health Outreach Staff

Alex is originally from the Chicago suburbs and joined Oxford College as Assistant Chaplain in the fall of 2021. She began as the Coordinator of Student Support/Mental Health Outreach in January of 2023. Among other things, she offers support to the campus community connecting with students and staff one-on-one, and through partnerships with Advising Support, Counseling and Career Services, International Student Programs, and the Center for Healthful Living. She became a certified Spiritual Director in May 2022 and hopes to bring new ways to practice spirituality and soul care to campus. Before coming to Oxford Alex worked as a chaplain at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. She began as the Communications Coordinator for ACSLHE (The Association for Chaplaincy and Spiritual Life in Higher Education) shortly after she began her time at Oxford.
