Sheldon Lawrence earned his PhD in Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Florida (2018). He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Dr. Lawrence currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Biology. His current research focuses on the use of biochemical, molecular and genetic tools to study interactions between the germ cells and somatic support cells of the model organism C. elegans. Dr. Lawrence’s articles have been published in research journals such as the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Journal of Proteomics and the Journal of proteome research.
