Has done field work in all four subfields of anthropology.  Studied young men's economic and social strategies for agency in Zanzibar in 2000.  Ran a non profit prodiving educational opportunities to impoverished youth in Rio de Janeiro.  Has worked as an Ethnographic Marketing Consultant in the Atlanta region.
