Lilika Ioki Kukiela is a postdoctoral teaching fellow in Literatures of the Americas. Lilika researches and teaches Asian American literary and cultural studies and its relations to critical ethnic studies, the study of global Asias, and American studies. Her current work centers on interracial kinship and Asian abstraction in the United States by way of Japan. Research from this work has been supported by The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
