Lindsey Van Note serves as Senior Director of Human Resources, People & Culture at Oxford College of Emory University, where she leads the College’s HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives in support of faculty, staff, and student success. With more than 22 years of experience in higher education human resources leadership, Lindsey brings deep expertise in compensation strategy, organizational design, employee relations, leadership development, and change management.
At Oxford, Lindsey is advancing a people-centered, data-informed HR model that integrates strategy, technology, and service excellence. She partners closely with academic and administrative leadership to strengthen organizational effectiveness, modernize HR processes, and foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Her work includes leading comprehensive classification and compensation reviews, implementing digital workflow solutions, and designing leadership development frameworks aligned with the College’s strategic plan.
Lindsey holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development and maintains multiple professional certifications, including Sherpa Executive Coach, Prosci Change Management Practitioner, and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. A trained mediator, she is passionate about building healthy workplace cultures where individuals and teams can thrive.
She is deeply committed to supporting staff and faculty flourishing and believes that strong institutions are built through intentional leadership, thoughtful systems design, and an unwavering focus on people.
